**The Role**

What you’ll be doing*
- Maintain a continuous workflow on the printers/cutters/finishing equipment
- Troubleshoot common issues independently
- Learn from expert technicians to reduce additional outsourced repair costs
- Know when to solve problems independently and when to involve others
- Encourage safe and productive work behavior through example and communication
- Hold a strong understanding of workflows and process organization
- Plan and executes work, achieving outlined goals on a daily basis
- Assist with research and development initiatives where required
- Complete special projects when assigned or given by the Production Manager or Director of Production
- Communicate openly with management about concerns regarding processes, equipment, software and/or employee issues and inventory needs

**Requirements**:

- High proficiency in Mac, Windows OS, G-suite and Microsoft office, specifically: Google Sheets, Excel, Google Docs, Word, and Gmail.
- Strong mathematical and technical skills.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills
- Can lift 50 lbs and able to stand for the duration of an 8 to 10-hour shift.
- Has 1-2 years work experience in the print industry operating a roll to roll press and laser cutting / icutting machines
- Has work experience in prepress, prepress workflows and color management
