Product Data Specialist

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing the Product Data Specialist conducts the company's product catalogues, booking programs and product promotions. The Product Data Specialist works in Parts creator and SAP as well as Excel to create all the necessary data to provide content for a variety of semi-annual catalogues and booking programs. The Product Data Specialist is also responsible for preparing all the product promotions to be shared with the sales team or sent out to the dealers. He also uploads all his product specials campaigns in SAP and is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and communicating the sales results to all concerned departments.

He performs other related duties as requested by his immediate supervisor, all in accordance with internal procedures and rules.

RESPONSABILITIES

Catalogues and booking programs 60%
- Build data and proofing for both OEM & aftermarket catalogues / flyers.
- Build data and proofing for both OEM & aftermarket spring & winter booking programs.
- Proof catalogs and assure accuracy.
- Generate data via the kit generator.
- Maintain kits for accuracy and up to date information.
- Work closely with the creative department for the execution of all catalogues, programs and specials.
- Coordinate all the data proofing in an efficient manner and respecting deadlines.

Promotions 30%
- Work closely with the Product department to be informed on all slow-moving products and inventory levels.
- Analyze and present sales results of promotions.
- Conceptualize and execute new strategies to sale our slow-moving products, discontinued products or blem products.

Other related tasks 10%
- Keep track of the tire suppliers advertising co-op, build orders and request co-op refund.
- Coordinate and prepare mailing for summer & winter catalogues.

BEHAVIOURS RELATED TO THE FUNCTION
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Passionate about automotive technology and able to leverage this interest to effectively research the field.
- Creative and open-minded individual willing to share ideas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication ability, based on respect, diplomacy and discernment.

ACADEMIC ASPECTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills. (e.g. VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, filtering, conditional formatting, etc.)
- Experience and comfort working in SAP, ideally SAP Business ByDesign, or equivalent
- Critical thinker—pushing through challenges both within a team, and autonomously
- Bilingual is a must.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry would be an asset.
