We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to handle full-cycle bookkeeping and support Immeubles DCXin preparing essential financial reports. If you enjoy streamlining processes, this role is for youYour Impact & Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the full accounting cycle for the company & various clients (full-cycle bookkeeping).Accurately prepare and post all necessary journal entries, including critical month-end adjustments and accruals.Perform and verify monthly bank reconciliations.Proactively manage Accounts Payable (A/P): verification, data entry, processing payments, and vendor follow-up.Actively manage Accounts Receivable (A/R): handling invoicing, recording cash receipts, and managing receivable follow-up.Produce, verify, and remit tax reports (GST/QST, others).Participate in the preparation of monthly or quarterly financial statements.Directly support the external CPA/auditors by preparing comprehensive year-end documentation and files.Identify and implement improvements to our current accounting and administrative workflows.Qualifications & Must-HavesEducation: DEC or BAC in Accounting, or equivalent relevant professional training.Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar, full-cycle accounting role.Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in major accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Acomba, or others).Data Skills: Excellent mastery of Microsoft Excel.Soft Skills: Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, rigor, autonomy, and exceptional attention to detail.Execution: Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and successfully manage multiple complex files simultaneously.Bonus: Good knowledge of Canadian accounting standards for SMEs is a strong asset.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceLocation: Montreal, Quebec, CanadaSalary: CA$75,000.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
