Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and making whitening trays, sports guards and custom trays.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history forms
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Provide support to the front desk as needed

**Skills**:

- Dental Assisting: Proficient in assisting with dental procedures, including chairside assisting, instrument passing, and suctioning.
- Power Practice: Experience with Exan software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing.
- Dental Terminology: Understanding of dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Pediatrics: Ability to work with pediatric patients, including providing a calm and friendly environment to alleviate anxiety.

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
