Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists with various tasks, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care and support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription orders by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and verifying patient information
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by restocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders for medications and supplies
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, addressing patient concerns, and resolving issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration

Requirements:a
- Minimum 1-2 years of Pharmacy assistant experience required.
- Efficency in Kroll Pharmacy software required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and prescription processing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 44 per week
