We are looking for an **HR Generalist** to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position.

HR Generalist will be responsible for leading and building HR initiatives and developing processes within a fast-paced environment including Recruitment and Onboarding, Compensation and Performance management, Training, Health and Safety, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, and providing administrative support to employees as needed.

Work schedule: Mon to Fri
- 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute a Recruitment Strategy that will anticipate future needs, is responsive to immediate needs, and is effective for long-term staffing plans.
- Revamp and implement an efficient employee onboarding process and accurately manage the HR database with employee files, records, and documentation in ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure that policy and processes are compliant with legislation and support the organization to reduce the risks related to people and processes.
- Responsible for administration of the Company Benefits, RRSP & DPSP match program and managing WCB and disability claims as needed.
- Manage and update the Health and Safety program within the organization and keep up to date with the rules and regulations required.
- Record and investigate all safety-related issues and investigations within the organization and take corrective measures.
- Responsible for conducting Safety Committee Meetings for identifying unsafe work practices or conditions and implementing safety measures as required.
- Guide leaders, and supervisors to assist with the resolution of Employee Relations issues and responsible for responding to all employee inquiries on a timely basis.
- Responsible for managing Training initiatives and Performance Review programs.
- Assist with payroll-related tasks as required.
- Manage Compensation Program, and contribute to employee retention, aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- 2-4 years of experience in HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ADP-Workforce Now is required.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources is preferred, and working toward a Certified Human Resources Professional (CPHR) designation is an asset.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Employment standards, Occupational Health and Safety requirements, and compliance needs.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and develop HR policies and procedures.
- Exceptional writing ability, verbal communication, and relationship-management skills are required.
- Self-starter with the capacity to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong computer abilities, particularly with HRIS, Payroll, and MS Office Suite are required.
