**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Respond to emergency calls 24/7
- Administrative duties to include sign all onsite personnel In and Out of site and keep accurate records
- Client paperwork as requested, safety tickets records, patient files, etc.
- Attend, and sometimes facilitate, daily safety meetings
- May be required to give safety presentations
- Education and development of junior staff.
- Obtain and maintain current all required certifications/certificates

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- _**OFA Level 3 ticket - If not a an EMR **_
- H2S Alive
- Onyx WHMIS / TDG (if required) / New Hire Training
- CPR Level HCP
- Paramedic In Industry Training course if Alberta EMR for work in BC
- Driver License - Class 5 (or equivalent) (Note: if driving Ambulance Class “4” required)
- Driver Abstract (current within 30 days of hire)
- CSO

**SKILLS**:

- Excellent, positive interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Functional knowledge and abilities with computer operations, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Effectively organize and prioritize situations and activities ranging from urgent patient care issues to routine office duties
- Must be reliable, dependable, and capable of working in a fast paced, team environment

**Leadership / Relationships (Internal and External)**:

- Act as on-site medical coordinator
- Acts as the main liaison between Onyx and clients
- Works in co-ordination with Onyx Logistics
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees Supervision
- Works under limited supervision
- Reports to Operations Management / Field Supervision

** **Rotation is normally two weeks on and two weeks off. Which means you will be required to be out onsite for two weeks in a row away from home. Shifts are 12 hours a day. If you are working somewhere where you must make/supply your own food, Onyx does pay you sub. Employees come to our main shop located in Leduc, AB and pick up an Onyx truck. Employees then drive our trucks with gas cards to the site and back to Leduc. Onyx does pay travel time when driving to and home from sites.**
