**Job description**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Mandatory Wordpress and Elementor experience
- Work with the team in the creation of new digital content properties
- Contributing to executing messaging and outreach strategies to promote brand
- Keep up to date with current trends in digital media
- Edit and review all copy and digital content to maintain a consistent brand image
- Developing new methods of raising company and product awareness, and searching for new opportunities
- Conceptualize, write, design, and implement marketing collateral to support business development initiatives. This includes effective presentations, fact sheets, guides, and brochures for the platform
- Design work related to all initiatives
- Perform additional duties as required
**Knowledge and Skills**
- **Excellent attention to detail is a must**:

- Evidence of a keen artistic eye in past works
- Experience with various social media platforms
- An excellent communicator with stellar writing skills
- Experience in graphic design and content creation
- Experience with video-editing and post-production activities
- Comfortable working with design software (such as Inkscape, Filmora, Canva, InVideo, etc.)
- Knowledge of and interest in the DIY electronics industry preferred (hackathons, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
- Comfortable in startup work environments and ambiguity, requiring flexibility and agile problem solving
**Education required**
- Currently enrolled in a later year of a post-secondary education program
- Program focus preferably on Digital Marketing, Digital Design, Digital Media, or equivalent
**Company Online Presence**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour
