**Total Weekly Hours**:15 hours/week
**Schedule**: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm
**Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants)**:$22.93/hour

- Who We’re Looking For_
- ** Education**: A Secondary School diploma (or equivalent) is required. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a strong asset.
- ** Experience**: At least 1 year of experience working directly with children, preferably in a childcare setting with children up to 12 years of age.

**Certifications Required**
- Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Proof of up-to-date immunization for TB, Tetanus, and MMR
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations

**Skills & Characteristics**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of “How Does Learning Happen?” is an asset
- Commitment to confidentiality, flexibility, and mínimal supervision
- Advocacy for diversity, equality, and inclusion
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Collaborating with staff to deliver age-appropriate programs that foster cognitive, physical, social, cultural, and emotional development.
- Supervising children and ensuring a safe environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Assisting with daily tasks such as organizing food carts, disinfecting tables, sweeping floors, and managing laundry as needed.
