Beamish Construction is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated employee with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Supervisor in Elliot Lake, ON. The Supervisor will require a high level of motivation, professionalism, and independence. This is a full-time permanent position available with competitive wages and a benefits package.

**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide supervision and direction to crew in order to meet quality and production standards
- Coordinate equipment, labour and trucking with the Superintendent
- Responsible for dispatching and operating winter snow removal operations
- Review contract drawings and plans to ensure specifications are followed
- Review and adhere to project schedules
- Complete daily supervisor diary and timesheet
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures: safety standards operations, maintenance, training, cleanliness standards, etc.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:

- Valid G license
- AZ/DZ is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in the civil construction field
- Experience in a management position is considered an asset

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to plan construction projects by studying plans, coordinating with Project Superintendent, Project Manager and Logistics Coordinator.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and scopes of work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental, Human Resources policies
