Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **About Cat Financial** **JOB SUMMARY**:Provide senior level credit and documentation support in Caterpillar Financial Services Limited (CFSL) region offices. Mandate to underwrite/recommend complex transactions up to $50M range for senior management approval. Underwrite and approve transactions with a personal credit authority of up to $1.5M. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES**: - Approves/rejects CFSL customer deals within approved credit authority and recommends deals beyond credit authority. - Negotiates and prepares financial transactions for documentation and funding with emphasis placed on complex transactions. - Assists in administration of wholesale and retail customer "loan" covenant compliance reviews, including on-site record and physical machine/inventory audits. May restructure customer deals. - Conducts and monitors credit investigations. - Assists in leading the documentation of retail receivables and in-processing. - Signs and funds documented transactions within approved credit authority. - Manages accounting input and audits booked deals for accuracy. - Performs training and provides guidance to other employees on the Credit Team. - Understands the established continuous improvement objectives for the region. - Measures progress toward the continuous improvement standards and sees that the necessary measurements are maintained. - Participates in the resolution of any identified problems. - Analyzes data and makes all business decisions based on such analysis. **JOB REQUIREMENTS**: **SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE**: - Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated ability to analyze customer credit summaries and past due accounts. - Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated ability to prepare marketing reports and marketing related statistical reports. - Advanced knowledge of marketing, credit and customer services concepts and techniques. - Demonstrated knowledge of financing and leasing products. - Demonstrated knowledge of account collection procedures. - Advanced knowledge of financing and leasing documentation principles. Demonstrated knowledge of billing, invoicing, and dealer payment principles and concepts. - Demonstrated knowledge of PPSA filing requirements and their applicability to bankruptcy laws and regulations. - Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated ability to calculate amortization schedules. **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**: - A 4-year college or university degree in finance, accounting or similar discipline. - A minimum of 4 years experience in credit, financial statement analysis, and/or a related discipline. - Previous work experience must be progressively increasing in responsibility and accountability and demonstrate an ability to gain in knowledge, skills and responsibility such that a level of full competency can be reached. - Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
