The Bilingual Credit Analyst (Canada) supports credit customer management by evaluating creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and resolving overdue accounts, primarily handling low-risk accounts. The role also includes operational and reporting tasks to help the department meet its goals. What You’ll Do Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and maintain related security files. Create and implement collection plans for overdue accounts, communicating via phone and electronic methods. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure awareness of high-risk accounts and collaborate on resolving outstanding balances. Ensure all credit activities comply with established processes, corporate policies, and internal controls. Provide administrative and daily support within the Credit Department, including managing reports, presentations, and data. What We’re Looking For High School Diploma 2 or more years of experience in Accounting/Finance – Preferably in the credit, accounts receivable or financial analysis area. Experience working in an environment that requires the understanding and implementation of strong internal controls. Advanced & strong communication skills written and verbal in English and French (Professional Level). Advanced skills in using Microsoft applications (specifically Excel, Word, and Power Point). Proven ability to negotiate in a customer-oriented environment (with results that are deemed to be acceptable to all parties). What Will Set You Apart Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Working knowledge of reading and understanding corporate financial statements. Experience interpreting a company's financial viability from a risk assessment perspective.
