Overview: We are seeking a skilled Abatement Worker to join our team. As an Abatement Worker, you will be responsible for safely removing and disposing of hazardous materials from various sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities: - Perform abatement activities in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines - Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials, such as asbestos, lead, mold, or other contaminants - Utilize power tools and hand tools to remove and clean affected areas - Follow proper containment procedures to prevent the spread of hazardous materials - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively - Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times Experience: - Previous experience in abatement or related field preferred - Knowledge of abatement techniques, equipment, and materials - Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to hazardous material removal - Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively and safely - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment If you are a motivated individual with experience in abatement work, we encourage you to apply. Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Skilled Labor: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
