We are looking for Conversion Bag Machine Operators at our Harvie Settlement location in Orillia

**As a Conversion Bag Operator, your responsibilities will include**:

- Set up bag machines to comply with customer bag specifications & requirements;
- Maintain the bag machine by performing minor maintenance as required; replacing belts, fingers, removing wraps, cleaning the seal, etc.
- Perform necessary adjustments as required to run machine;
- Ensure quality standards are maintained & verified through inspection of box & weight, bag width & length, material strength & appearance etc.;
- Belt & wrap audits to ensure no wraps inside machine and adequate belts to run schedule orders;
- Basic understanding of fold settings/adjustments and small note book to record and recall previous settings;
- Inputting production & scrap into the computer as boxes/scrap is produced;
- Leave machine & surrounding area well maintained and cleaned, ensuring a safe, clean and organized environment.

**Additional Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ability to work in a labor demanding environment: stand for up to three (3) hours at a time, lift up to 50lbs;
- Work in a manner that does not jeopardize safety for you or any other team member; adheres to company policy;
- Well organized, with a good attention to detail and accuracy with sound communication skills
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Position Details / Qualifications**:
Continental shifts - **Straight Nights; 7pm-7am**
- This position is located at **625 Harvie Settlement Road, Orillia**;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
