Privately owned by a Niagara-born veterinarian, we are a two DVM practice whose team brings gold standard service to the dogs and cats of St. Catharines. Our main priority is the quality of life for our team members as this translates to great patient and client care. We never work weekends or holidays and we offer at minimum a living wage for all employees.

Responsibilities would include:

- providing friendly, high-quality care to the patients and clients
- scheduling appointments, invoicing and processing transactions
- assisting DVMs and RVTs during appointments
- patient restraint and care
- stocking shelves and maintaining hospital cleanliness
- a minimum 1 year of veterinary reception/assistant experience
- the ability to handle animals of all sizes and temperaments comfortably
- enthusiasm with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- initiative with the ability to work independently or as part of the team
- the ability to multi-task
- a great sense of humour

We are offering $19 - $22 per hour dependent on experience. We provide a four-day work week, health and dental benefits, a generous personal pet care discount, sick days, uniform allowance and 3 weeks of vacation.
