Cabana Attendant - Seasonal Opportunity
Join Donalda Club’s Fitness & Aquatics Team as a Cabana Attendant this summer
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual who will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming poolside experience for our members. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in an active, social environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
Position Overview
As a Cabana Attendant, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized cabana area, ensuring all amenities are stocked, and providing exceptional service to members. Your role will directly impact the comfort and experience of our guests, making every poolside visit enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a Clean & Sanitary Cabana - Regularly clean change rooms, wet areas, and washrooms.
- Stock Towels & Toiletries - Ensure fresh towels and necessary supplies are always available.
- Assist Members & Guests - Provide friendly service, address questions, and enforce club policies.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance - Monitor cabana rules, minimize hazards, and report maintenance issues.
- Support the Aquatics Team - Work closely with lifeguards and the Fitness & Aquatics Manager to provide seamless service.
- Sign-In Management - Ensure all guests sign in for accurate tracking.
- Respond to Emergencies - Assist in emergency situations in accordance with Health & Safety training.
- Report Issues Promptly - Notify management of any sanitary or maintenance concerns.

What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma (Grade 12) required
- Strong customer service & interpersonal skills - A friendly and approachable personality is a must
- Ability to work in wet, humid, and outdoor conditions
- Comfortable performing cleaning duties - Including washrooms and showers
- Physically capable - Must be able to lift towels, restock supplies, and perform light maintenance tasks
- Punctual & reliable - Available to work flexible shifts between 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM, including weekends and holidays
- A team player with a positive attitude - Must be professional, well-groomed, and friendly
- Emergency First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
