**Position**: Warehouse Receiver

**General Summary**:
The Warehouse Receiver plays a critical role in the efficient operation of the warehouse by ensuring the accurate receipt and processing of incoming shipments. This position is responsible for inspecting and verifying the quantity and quality of products received, recording necessary information, and properly storing them in designated areas. The Warehouse Receiver also collaborates with other warehouse personnel to maintain organized inventory and facilitate the timely distribution of goods to the appropriate departments or locations.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- While adhering to policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance, load, unload, move, store, and pick products according to purchase orders on behalf of customers.
- Execute warehouse standards, with a focus on proper storage, to achieve maximum productivity and limit inventory damages.
- Log or record every inbound shipment of product from supplies and customers in the daily receiving log
- Entry of inventory receipts in Trend/TWL
- Reporting and crediting returned products from vendors or customers
- Check accuracy of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders.
- Perform product repacking activities where applicable.
- Follow security, sanitation, and general upkeep standards of the warehouse.
- Maintain a daily material handling equipment log that reports on any required repairs or unsafe operation of any pieces of material handling equipment.
- Ensure the safe operation of all material handling equipment within the facility.
- Maintains a high level of communication with the warehouse supervisor
- Maintains working knowledge of warehouse data systems and performs various tasks within the system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Warehouse experience considered an asset
- Inventory management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Forklift certification
- Must present a clean driver’s abstract and criminal records check.
