The Information Technology department is part of House of Friendship’s administration team providing support to the programs of House of Friendship. We are seeking a skilled Support Specialist in Microsoft 365 to join our dynamic team and to implement and manage the design, development and maintenance of SharePoint-based solutions. As a Microsoft 365 Support Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into technical solutions and implementing Office 365 solutions to meet the organization's collaboration, document management and workflow needs.

*** This is a permanent, salaried, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position with paid sick time, personal days, vacation time, group health benefits and defined contribution pension plan.**

**Schedule to be determined with supervisor based on program needs.**

**Valid G class driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and create an Organizational SharePoint Solution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design SharePoint solutions that align with business goals and best practices
- Develop technical specifications, including system architecture, data models and user interface design
- Maintain existing client SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries and content (including pages, workflows, and items)
- Configure SharePoint sites, libraries, lists and permissions to ensure optimal performance and security
- Create business flow solutions using Power Automate to streamline organization tasks
- Implement training and education for end-users on Office 365 capabilities and collaboration tools with an emphasis on SharePoint (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Outlook etc.)
- Support user setup and orientation including installing and configuring workstations, software, telephone services, network printing, etc.
- Maintain and provide support for all IT infrastructure
- Contribute to research and evaluation of new hardware and software that aligns with user requirements
- Provide multi-level support and troubleshooting for a staff of 350 users
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining adequate IT procedures and controls to minimize security risks
- Provide support to the IT Manager with other projects/tasks as assigned

**Job Specific Knowledge/Skills**:

- Proficiency in SharePoint customization and development using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure cloud computing, or other relevant tools
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint features, including document management, workflows, forms, search and security
- Significant experience in Microsoft 365 environments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines is required
- Knowledge of network administration and end-user support experience considered an asset
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills, with a strong attention to details
- Ability to work with and coach individuals at all levels of computer skills

**Education/Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At Least 2 years of related experience in a Microsoft environment
- Experience as a SharePoint Developer, with a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, configuration, and development techniques
