One of the aims of this particular project is to put in place a mechanism that will enable the School Board to prepare a succession to fill replacement and regular positions for school organization technicians in secondary schools. In addition, this project makes it possible to replace a school organization technician during a short or long-term absence, as well as to temporarily fill a vacant position in a secondary school.
**The Role**:
- The employee in this job class prepares the school's or center's timetable, taking into account relevant factors such as the course options offered, students' course choices, teaching fields, pedagogical regime, group formation rules, teaching periods and other constraints. They will submit the timetable to management and makes any requested changes.
- It collects the data needed for student enrolment and course selection, designs and adapts a form for this purpose, ensures that the forms are returned once completed, makes any corrections that have been agreed and produces the various statistics needed to draw up a timetable.

- They provide training and support on school organization procedures and the use of various software programs to the people involved in these operations; if necessary. They may be called upon to respond to requests for information from other school staff or the school board.
- They are called upon to train less experienced technicians, and to coordinate the work of support staff in the tasks they perform in carrying out the technical operations programs for which they are responsible.
- If necessary, they perform any other related tasks.
**Job Features**:
- Participate in the development and implementation of a succession plan for school organization technicians, in collaboration with administrators.
- Develop a training plan for the next generation of school organization technicians.
- To be called upon to replace a school organization technician during short or long-term absences, and to temporarily fill a vacancy in a school, as required.
**Requirements**:
- Hold a diploma of collegial studies in general administration techniques or in other techniques appropriate to the job class or in other techniques with specialization appropriate to the job class or hold a diploma or attestation of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority. *Any other combination of education and relevant experience will be analyzed and may be considered.
- Pass pre-selection tests (French, advanced Word and intermediate Excel)
- Relevant experience in school organization (considered an asset)
- Knowledge of GPI, CHARLEMAGNE (considered an asset)
- Ability to work simultaneously on a number of complex projects within strict deadlines (planning and organization)

- Must own an automobile to travel within the School Board territory
**PLACE OF WORK**
Systems and Information Technology Services Department, at the New Frontiers Board Office. Possibility of sporadic deployment to New Frontiers schools, as needed

**WORK SCHEDULE**
35 hrs. /week - Monday to Friday
**EFFECTIVE DATE**
January 13, 2025 until June 30, 2025
**REMUNERATION**
$26.38 - 35.22 per hour, in conformity with the salary scales set by the Ministry.
