Branch Operations Manager

Hewson Brothers Building Supply is a building supply company based out of Cambridge and Brantford. We specialize in the delivery of drywall, steel, insulation, ceiling tiles and other supplies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee day to day operations
- Coordinate with the Brantford operations manager
- Responsible for Standard Operating Procedures, injuries, and safety compliance while running a safe and injury/accident-free workplace and communicating with the health and safety team
- Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and assign specific duties
- Determine staff requirements, interview, hire and train new employees or oversee those personnel processes
- Coordinate with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and delivery to ensure successful production operations
- Provide operational and strategic leadership for the branch
- Analyze and improve efficiency and workflow
- Manage and promote a positive and productive work environment
- Work closely with management to implement policies, procedures and systems and follow through with implementation
- Review company reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
- Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements
- Serve as a primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to deliveries
- Communicate issues to the management team and problem solve solutions
**Requirements**:
10+ years of management experience is preferred
