**JOB DESCRIPTION - BRANCH MANAGER - CAMBRIDGE**

Georgian Bay Fire & Safety Ltd., a Fire Safety and Protection, LLC company is one of Ontario's largest independent providers of Life Safety and Property Protection, is seeking a Branch Manager - Fire & Safety Solutions for our Cambridge branch. With over 130 employees we are a direct distributor for several manufacturers and offer not only in-house but also manufactures’ training. **JOB SUMMARY**

A Branch Manager (Canada) in the Fire and Safety Industry is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a regional office, geographical area, or branch of a fire and safety company. They work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies for growth and profitability, while ensuring that all services provided meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with local, provincial, and national fire codes and standards.

A Branch Manager (Canada) in the fire and safety industry is responsible for overseeing the team that maintains and repairs fire, security, and life safety systems for commercial, industrial, and residential clients. The job involves managing a cross functional team, consisting of both union and nonunion resources, ensuring compliance with regulatory codes and standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities of a Branch Manager in the Fire and Safety Industry may include:

- Developing and implementing strategic plans for growth and profitability, including market analysis, competitive intelligence and customer needs assessment.
- Accountability on territory financial performance
- Ensuring that all services provided comply with local, provincial and national fire and building codes and standards, and that all employees are trained and certified as required.
- Adherence and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
- Managing relationships with key customers, partners and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
- Providing leadership and technical support to all employees including hiring, training, coaching and performance management.
- Staying up to date with changes in fire and building codes and standards as well as industry trends and best practices.
- Facility management and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Leading a team of installation and service technicians to ensure they are meeting install, service and repair targets.
- Ensuring that technicians have the necessary tools, equipment and training to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- Conducting site inspections to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
- Maintaining and calibrating tools and equipment.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyze financial data and reports are also important attributes for a Branch Manager in the Fire and Safety Industry.
- Additionally, certification from a recognized organization, such as the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) or the Ontario College of Trades (OCOT), may be required.
