Utility Project Manager

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate a large utility verification project. Underground utilities must be visually verified utilizing hydrovac technology.
- Organize locates, saw cutting, traffic control, hydrovacs, backfilling hard surface reinstatement.
- Ensure safe field operations.
- Adhere to utility owner requirements.
- Daily tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate with Prime Contractor and organize the safest and most efficient way to complete the work.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in civil project management, preferably in the utility industry.
- Strong knowledge of the construction process to coordinate the necessary contractors to excavate utilities, backfill and reinstatement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with subcontractors and all stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Utility Project Manager. This project will a effective leader that can plan ahead. The project will require some night shifts and is anticipated to run 4 months. Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: From $500.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Retention bonus

**Experience**:

- Project management: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
