We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. **Duties**:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist with meal preparation by following recipes and portion control guidelines
- Cook and plate dishes according to established standards and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Assist other kitchen staff as needed, such as dishwashing or food storage
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of ingredients
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Food Handlers certification prefered
