**Who We’re Looking For**

Fancii is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Chief Operating Officer (COO) **to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity, driving the operational excellence of our growing international e-commerce business in the beauty industry.

Based at our Edmonton headquarters, the COO will report directly to the CEO. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities pivotal to our operations and growth. Key duties include:

- **Strategic Planning and Execution**: Crafting and implementing business strategies and plans that align with our short-term and long-term objectives.
- **Operational Leadership**: Managing day-to-day operations with a keen focus on production, supply chain management, and innovative product development to meet the evolving demands of the beauty industry.
- **Team Management and Development**: Leading diverse teams, including HR, customer service, and product development departments, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
- **Market Expansion and Brand Growth**: Driving market expansion initiatives, exploring new product lines, and identifying opportunities in international markets.
- **Financial Oversight**: Collaborating with the finance team to oversee operational budgets, cost optimization, and financial performance enhancement.
- **Human Resources Strategy**: Overseeing HR policies and practices, ensuring they are aligned with our business goals, and fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and managing customer service teams to reflect our brand values.
- **Product Innovation and Development**: Leading the product development team to innovate and develop new products that align with consumer needs and market trends.
- **Stakeholder Relations**: Building and maintaining robust relationships with business partners, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- **Quality and Compliance**: Ensuring all company operations adhere to legal and regulatory standards while maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
- **Professional Experience**: At least 5 years of senior management experience in the beauty, consumer goods, or related industry, with a proven track record in e-commerce operations.
- **E-Commerce Expertise**: Extensive experience in leading and scaling e-commerce platforms, with a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, online sales channels, and e-commerce technologies.
- **Leadership Skills**: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams, with a strong focus on team building, talent development, and performance management.
- **Strategic Planning**: Proven experience in strategic planning and business development, with the ability to drive operational efficiency and growth in a dynamic market.
- **Financial Acumen**: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, particularly in an e-commerce context.
- **Operational Management**: Experience in overseeing complex operations, including supply chain, logistics, product development, and customer service in an e-commerce environment.
- **HR and People Management**: Knowledge of HR processes and experience in managing a workforce, including recruitment, training, and development.
