**Operations & Greenhouse Associate**

Full Time Permanent. 8 Hour Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

(These days/hours may vary slightly depending on our seasonal volumes)

This is a highly dynamic position whose primary responsibilities include seasonal projects and tasks related to the production of products for T&T Seeds Ltd. This position reports seasonally to the Greenhouse Manager as well as the Warehouse Manager. This position interacts with customers year-round.
- In the fall and early winter months you will assist in seed and sundry production.
- In the winter / spring season, you will assist in greenhouse production with responsibilities ranging from seeding, transplanting, to developing your product knowledge.
- In the summer you will do landscaping along with other tasks related to the daily operations of T&T Seeds.

**Requirements**:

- Formal education is not required, but is an asset. Desired fields include, but are not limited to, environmental systems, agriculture, horticulture, or just a love of plants;
- Computer literacy is not required, but is an asset;
- Fluency in English (reading and writing) and ability to follow detailed instructions;
- Ability to record data, stay organized, and keep track of assigned tasks;
- Ability to do manual work in all weather conditions;
- Ability to stand all day, ability to lift 50lbs;
- Ability to work on your feet (8hrs) in a fast paced environment;
- Ability to work independently and be a positive team player;
- Given that our facility is located at 7724 Roblin Blvd, Headingley, you must have access to transportation as no city buses run to this location.
