T&T Seeds is at the starting line of gardens in Canada and has been since 1946 providing a robust and diversified selection of flower and vegetable seeds, seedling fruit and non-fruit trees, shrubs, perennial bulbs, plants, nutrients and gardening supplies. Our proprietary production processes and tailored fulfillment operations, combined with our expertise in gardening and customer care aim to help our customers thrive.

Serving Canadians, coast to coast with our online, phone and local garden center sales channels, we focus on gardeners of all sizes with an expertise in supplying and supporting small to midsize gardens and farms. Whether a garden is for supplying families, grocers, communities or manufacturers we are there.

**THE POSITION**
We are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual to work in our retail store at 7724 Roblin Blvd. Our retail staff work inside our garden centre and greenhouses. The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills, be a team-player, and willingness to learn. Come help our customers make their garden dreams come true

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**

■ Helping customers locate products when they enter the store

■ Ensure displays of seeds, accessories, and other supplies are well stocked and organized

■ Work checkout and help customers bring their purchases to their car, as needed

■ Basic phone and computer functions

○ look up orders, customer accounts, answer phone inquiries

■ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store

○ watering and treating tropical plants

○ sweeping/dusting

○ ensure no safety hazards for customers

**REQUIREMENTS**

■ Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

■ Self-starter, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

■ Ability to lift 50lbs

■ Basic computer skills

■ Horticulture background/knowledge is an asset

■ Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

■ Available to work during regular store hours including flexibility to work weekends as required

■ Must love dogs (We are a dog-friendly business)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $15.80 per hour

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

Work days:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
