**Position Summary**:
Join the First Nations Health Authority as a Co-op Student in our Information Management and Information Technology team This is your chance to join a fun and dynamic team to learn new skills and gain experience in IT services and IT support. Reporting to the Manager, Core Technology and Architecure, the Student will have the opportunity to:

- Support other system Administrators on projects
- Learn about the technical operations of a busy Information Management department in this unique, province-wide organization
- Learn the basics of: SCCM, Active directory, systems Documentation, learn networking technologies, Microsoft Exchange and active directory

**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.**

**Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will work to provide system administration support:

- Active Directory/VOIP telephones/multi-function devices
- Assist in the collection and updating of information for each user.
- Assist with the cleanup and organization of file share permissions
- Create documentation as requested
- Assist with troubleshooting of basic hardware/software issues
- Assist in the review and testing of current documentation and offer suggestions for improvement

**Qualifications**:
Education and Experience:

- Currently enrolled in a formal co-op program in Computer Sciences or related field of study
- Prior experience in supporting and IT environment is an asset (hardware, software, operation systems, monitors, multi-function devices)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
