Kennel Assistant

Looking for Full time and Part time Kennel Attendants to join our team at the Veterinary Emergency Urgent Care and Referral Clinic of York Region.

Experience not necessary, open to everyone Perfect opportunity for High school and Co-op students

Duties will include:

- Cleaning of patient cages and kennels
- General cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping)
- Laundry duties
- Assisting with patient care (walking, feeding, exercising, cleaning and patients ALWAYS need some cuddling).
- Ensuring clinic remains a clean and aseptic environment
- Understanding of WHMIS and bio hazardous materials
- Comfortable handling all sizes of dogs and cats
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
