WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a contributing member of the Professional Services team, you will work closely with the Vice-President, Professional Services, Senior Managing Director, Managers and the Real Property Team to support our company’s vision, strategic priorities and initiatives. Through site inspections, research, expert analysis and collaboration, you will collect and analyze data to develop solid and defensible rationale for the final value assigned to a property. This information is presented to clients in Reserve Fund Study reports and Real Property Appraisal Reports primarily in the Saskatchewan region. A large percentage of the work involves collecting on-site data, data entry and local cost data research. You will also assist with training and supervising of junior staff and perform quality control reviews of reports. The position is based in Saskatoon, SK and requires local and regional travel.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You’re proactive, results-driven, and goal-oriented. You thrive both independently and as part of a team. You’re client-focused, commitment to building relationships, and dedicated to delivering high levels of service in line with our brand promise. You possess strong leadership skills, enjoy mentoring others, and excel at managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Your research and analysis skills are top-notch, and you’re proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and databases. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel locally and regionally are essential.
**You have the following credentials**:
- Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) designation and member in good standing or close to obtaining AACI designation;
- 5 - 10 years’ CRE valuation experience;
- Experience with appraisal report writing, depreciation report writing, property inspections, and/or onsite data collection; and
- A combination of education, designation and experience may be considered.
