Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) is seeking a Security Officer for an industrial location in Yellowknife, NT. This position will work 12-hour shifts and is a 14-days on/off rotation.

Successful applicants will provide security services to a remote mining site including, but not limited to, ensuring adherence to site rules, site access, vehicle searches, foot and mobile patrolling, lodge security, assistance with emergency response, and security of the mine area.

**Duties Include**:

- Ensuring premises, client property and personnel are secured
- Observing, recording, and reporting activities and security incidents
- Preventing loss and damage by reporting irregularities
- Patrolling assigned areas, checking for fires, wildlife, vandalism, suspicious activity, or safety/fire hazards
- Answering or responding to emergencies and dispatch of emergency resources as needed

**Required Qualifications**:

- Must reside in Calgary and Yellowknife
- 1 Year Camp Security experience is an asset
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid first aid certificate

**Schedule**:

- 12-hour shifts
- Job is on a 14 days on and 14 days off rotation
