**About the role**:
As an HRBP, you will be a trusted advisor to operational leaders and employees, delivering hands-on support across talent management, employee relations, and corporate governance. You’ll play a key role in building a high-performing, engaged workforce while ensuring compliance and consistency in HR processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Talent Management**
- Understand divisional workforce plans and ensure job postings align with business needs
- Coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and manage onboarding documentation via HRIS
- Lead in-person HR orientations for seasonal and regular hires
- Plan and execute onboarding activities including Day 1, Week 1, and probationary reviews
- Support managers through the 30-60-90-day probationary period
- Coach employees on career paths and competency maps within Miller
- Implement performance management programs for salaried and key hourly roles
- Identify and track training needs based on performance gaps

**Labour & Employee Relations**
- Act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries (policies, payroll, benefits, etc.)
- Partner with operations to drive engagement survey participation and follow-up
- Ensure compliance with Miller policies and best practices during investigations and disciplinary actions
- Educate and coach employees and managers on workplace rights and responsibilities
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment

**Corporate Governance**

**Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources
- 5+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in a generalist or HRBP role
- Strong knowledge of employment standards, labour relations, and human rights legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Ability to build rapport and influence across all levels of the organization
- Experience in both structured and matrixed environments
- High energy, resilience, and a strong work ethic
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
