Currently there is a full-time position available for a truck driver based out of our Chilliwack locations. This position presents a substantial opportunity within the Quik’s Farm Team. This position offers you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fun-loving, and growing team

**Work Hours**:

- Long haul runs to Alberta
- Local runs to Vancouver
- Local deliveries between business locations

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Truck inspection - check oil/antifreeze/windshield washer/fuel reefer + truck/lights/tires/brakes, etc.
- Logbook and inspection report fill in.
- Phone calls and texting must be answered in a timely fashion - Bluetooth in truck.
- Report if any major weather/traffic problems so that customers can be made aware of delays.
- Ensure vehicles are always kept clean and is inspected after the trip for any irregularities.
- Maintenance support for small repairs is considered an asset.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Class 1 License with mountain experience (preferably with reefer experience)
- Valid air brake license
- Must be able to maneuver and reverse a semi-trailer well in narrow spaces.
- Solid time-management and organizational skills
- Clean drivers' abstract

**Benefits**:

- Cell phone compensation to be decided.

- Monthly performance-based bonuses of $50.00 if trucks are maintained well.
- Overnight stay of $50.00/night

This position may require you to work on Saturdays and statutory holidays.

Pay: $29.00 per hour
