**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate heavy trucks and other vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload the trucks ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license is required. Class 3 is a minimum but class 1 is preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 60 per week
