The Technical Specialist, Quality, Class 2, works under the minimum supervision of the Manager, Quality Assurance. Applies his/her specialized expertise in quality assurance, including one of the following fields: electronics, mechanics, avionics or other relevant specialized fields. His/her occasional contacts with external customers require an ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Works using detailed specifications (drawings, standards, procedures, work instructions, etc.) related to the area where he/she is assigned. Depending on the Department where he/she works, may perform the tasks below.

**As a**Technical Specialist, Quality,** your day-to-day responsibilities include**:

- Coordinating, controling and/or performing testing and verification of materials/components;
- Making decisions regarding the acceptability of products, materials and the work performance in reference with procedures and quality standards;
- Coordinating investigations on quality problems and recommending technical solutions;
- Generating Corrective Action Request on appropriate forms;
- Organizing Material Review Board meetings and coordinating with other employees corrective actions to be taken in case of non-conformance with specifications, drawings, processes, etc.;
- Visiting suppliers for process and product audits in order to improve their performance;
- Writing or modifying quality assurance procedures, work instructions and standards;
- Performing quality audits;
- Participating in the selection of sampling plans for inspection and testing;

**To join our team, you must hold**:

- College degree in mechanic or related field;
- Three (3) years of experience as a Technician, including two (2) years in quality assurance;
