**Salary**:

- **$65,000/year** for the first 3-month probationary period
- **$75,000/year** for the next 3 months
- **$85,000/year** thereafter, with annual performance reviews

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated **Chargehand** to lead our production crew and help us deliver operational excellence.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and support production crew during daily operations
- Organize changeovers at various machine centers for efficient workflow
- Coordinate with forklift operators to locate and stage incoming lumber for runs
- Assign tasks and delegate effectively based on crew capabilities
- Assist with daily and upcoming scheduling and resource planning
- Measure and verify lumber dimensions (thickness, width, length)
- Ensure safe and efficient execution of all mill procedures

**What You Bring**:

- **Minimum 2 years of experience** in a Chargehand or Foreman role in a lumber mill
- Familiarity with **Milltech** software
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset
- Lumber grading experience is preferred
- Proven leadership and team coordination abilities
- High attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Ability to follow and give clear written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working around equipment and machinery in a fast-paced setting
