**About Us**

We are a small growing food manufacturing company that has been in business for 30 years. We are a family business. We are in a newly renovated food plant on Kingsway Avenue in Port Coquitlam.

**Description**

We are looking for an early morning production lead to help us make sandwiches and wraps. You will work with a partner leading a team of 6 people to make ready to eat food products.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Lead a team of 7-10 employees with a partner to make food products
- Train employees
- Maintain high quality, correct portions and beautiful presentation
- Prep ingredients including using a meat slicer, knife, etc
- Assemble sandwiches, wraps and charcuterie trays
- Label products
- Check your team’s work
- Use a cloud based computer system to set up production batches (requires some math skills)
- Record production batches using a computer
- Ensure lot traceability of every food ingredient used
- Perform stocktakes
- Cleaning (dish washing, mopping etc)
- Start 5am until production is complete (~1pm)

**Expected Hours**

Required days: Sun and Fri 5am-1pm plus 3 more days of your choosing

We work until the production is complete which may sometimes finish early or require overtime.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Leadership
- Good listener
- Experience with meat slicers or other cooking
- Experience cleaning
- Ability to quickly learn a cloud based computer system
- Good attention to detail
- Fluent in English
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Reliability is a key requirement as this affects the whole team
- Foodsafe 1
- Must pass Criminal Record Check and background check

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
