Vancouver, Canada Ignite Technical Resources. Full time

On behalf of our large public-sector client based in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with BI knowledge to join their team for a 6 months contract opportunity with strong potential to extend.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with business users, functional consultants, and developers to implement business requirements.
- Perform operational sustainment activities
- Participate in project initiatives.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years of Experience in business analysis with the ability to come up to speed quickly, gaining an understanding of the business problem/opportunity, project objectives, and high-level design completed to date
- SAP solutions. Good working knowledge of business domains, analytics, SAP BI Content, SAP BW/4HANA
- SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Power BI
- Translating data into meaningful business insights in support of the overall business strategy
- Taking ownership of assigned activities, with mínimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills in professional environment, written and spoken

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Utility industry experience
