Instructor Personal Support Worker Program

**About You**
**As a PSW Instructor you will**:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs.
- Facilitate engaging classroom discussions and activities that promote critical thinking and participation.
- Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and open communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide learners with one-on-one support as needed.
- Assist with placements for the students.
**Required Education and Experience**
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current registration and no practice restrictions with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum of 2 years of current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in a long-term care/community/chronic care setting.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Subject matter expert with a deep understanding and knowledge of the material you teach.
- The ability to clearly explain concepts, using varied teaching methods to reach different learners.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students through innovative teaching strategies.
- Patience and adaptability in addressing individual student needs and challenges.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
