What You'll Do

As an Esthetics Instructor, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality instruction in skincare, facials, makeup artistry, nail care, waxing, and other esthetics techniques
• Lead hands-on demonstrations and supervise practical lab sessions
• Support student learning through assessments, coaching, and individualized feedback
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom atmosphere
• Stay up to date on industry trends, products, and innovations—and bring them to your lessons
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment
• Collaborate with fellow faculty to ensure program excellence
• Participate in ongoing professional development and college events

What You Bring

Licensure & Certification

• Valid Esthetics certification in Ontario (or equivalent)
• Certification in skincare, makeup, nail care, or related areas from a recognized institution

Education & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a professional esthetician (spa, salon, clinic, etc.)
• Completion of an accredited esthetics diploma or degree program
• Teaching certification or post-secondary teaching experience (Ontario College of Teachers or equivalent) is an asset

Skills

• Strong expertise in skincare, makeup, nail care, waxing, and related treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and support students of varying skill levels
• Strong organizational skills and classroom management abilities
• Knowledge of industry health and safety standards

Preferred

• Experience teaching online or in hybrid environments
• Additional certifications (advanced skincare, lash extensions, body treatments, etc.)
• Familiarity with current beauty products, methods, and technologies
• Fluency in English
