Professional Bookkeeper

We are looking to fill the position of **Professional Bookkeeper**. We are seeking a well-organized and highly motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team committed to the growth and expansion of the group of companies.

Daily duties will be performed on site in the offices connected to our production shop to ensure communication and collaboration between all departments.

**Specific tasks will include**:
∙Data entry of vendor and sales invoices including recording the inter-company

transactions associated.

∙Reconcile multiple bank accounts and credit cards

∙Send out monthly customer statements and contact customers with overdue accounts

∙Track expenses, vendor payment management and payment of invoices

∙Complete payroll entries and prepare cheques for a 26 pay period year and pay source

deductions, for 50 - 100 employees.

∙Maintain confidentiality of current TD1 T4 records

∙Preform month end adjustments

∙Record foreign exchange where applicable.

∙Produce Financial reporting documents for partners, banks, and other institutions.

∙Prepare and file the monthly GST remittance for 3 + companies

∙Prepare files for year end for the external accountant’s review

∙Ensure compliance with the CRA and any other Provincial and Federal bodies

**Additional Qualifications**:
∙Excellent Proficiency with Sage50 Premium Desktop accounting software

∙Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams,)

conferences, as well as internal company message boards

∙Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential material

∙Perform various ratio calculations and report comprehensive conclusions

∙Provide feedback and assist in building financial and inventory forecasts

∙Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency

∙Comfortable recording adjusting and correcting entries.

∙Experience with managerial/cost accounting

∙Familiarity with preparing cash flow projections

∙Positive demeanour or and proactive attitude

∙Strong attention to detail is essential

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
