Barista/bartender

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Bartender to join our team. As a Barista/Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they walk in.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve skills in food preparation and customer service.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or as a barista is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
