**DUTIES**

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Own the completion and implementation of TCT asset management guiding documents.
- Develop validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data (e.g., serial numbers, install dates, condition, etc.).
- Tag and manage physical assets with QR codes and link them to system records.
- Centralize and standardize asset data in TCT’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), working with CMMS representatives to optimize system configuration.
- Update and refine asset hierarchies and workflows to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Maintain an asset registry with SOPs, manuals, regulatory schedules, and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with all TCT staff and lead workshops to solve asset knowledge gaps, by teaching and training individuals.
- Develop reporting templates and dashboards to facilitate the integration of asset and maintenance data to guide replacement and investment planning.
- Provide strategic advice across the organization on asset-related critical issues, risk mitigation opportunities, and contingency plans.
- Become the in-house Subject Matter Expert (“SME”) and assert leadership to all TCT teams on record keeping, inspections, maintenance schedules, CMMS utilization, and other related training.
- Take ownership of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) issues and demonstrate enthusiasm and support for HSE.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by Senior Management.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Knowledge of risk assessments, asset hierarchy development, condition assessment, and risk-based prioritization.
- Familiarity with ISO 55000 and relevant provincial and federal regulations.
- Ability to develop long-term asset management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and build capacity across departments.
- Ability to lead organizational change initiatives and implement process improvements across asset management functions.
- Deep understanding of lifecycle planning, condition assessments, and renewal forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret asset data and support evidence-based decisions.
- Strong gap analysis and system audit capabilities.
- Ability to lead interviews and team workshops that address gaps and solve problems.
- Clear verbal and written communication for training and reporting.
- Strong project planning and documentation skills.
- Practitioner in navigating complex operational environments and proposing pragmatic solutions.

The following are the minimum experience and qualifications:

- Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience as an asset management practitioner in a leading role for a large organization.
- Practical experience implementing ISO 55000 asset management principles.
- Proficiency in CMMS systems, particularly in asset inventory management systems used in manufacturing plants.
- Ability to build strong working relationships, coupled with robust interpersonal skills.
- Professional and proactive communication with both internal and external parties.
- Advanced technical writing for contracts, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and reports.

The following are considered assets:

- Certificate or diploma in asset management from IAM, IPWEA / NAMS Canada, PEMAC, or another recognized institution.
- A professional background as either a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification.

A combination of experience and qualifications may be considered for this role.
