Deli Associate

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and assemble deli products according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, display cases, and equipment
- Restock shelves, organize products, and ensure proper labeling for easy customer access
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

**Skills**
- Food preparation skills with knowledge of food handling and sanitation protocols
- Experience operating deli slicers and scales.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment typical of quick service.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Previous experience in food service, grocery stores, cafés, or retail environments is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Team player with a positive attitude committed to delivering exceptional service

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
