Key Responsibilities

**Site Preparation & Maintenance**:

- Assist with site cleanup and organization
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Prepare work areas and ensure job sites remain clean and safe
- Set up and take down temporary structures and scaffolding

**Construction Support**:

- Assist carpenters
- Carry tools and materials to work areas
- Hold materials in place during installation
- Perform measurements and basic layout work under supervision

**Material Handling**:

- Receive and organize deliveries of lumber, drywall, and other materials
- Operate wheelbarrows, dollies, and other material handling equipment
- Stack and store materials properly to prevent damage
- Maintain inventory of supplies and tools

**General Construction Tasks**:

- Assist with framing, siding, finishing installation
- Perform basic demolition work as required

Required Qualifications

**Basic Requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and scaffolding
- Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- WHMIS certification
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience with power tools and equipment

Pay: $17.75-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
