**Job Duties and Responsibilities, including, but not limited to**:

- Working within a Residential Setting with youth and adolescents with mental health/behavioural/addictions struggles
- Working with 1:1 youth, encouraging good choices, school attendance, good hygiene, etc.
- Encourage participation in programs, wellness, repairing family relationships, and goal setting
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Complete daily tasks and activities of living
- Liaise with community partners and medical professionals
- Manage behaviours, engage in emotional validation and diffuse situations as needed
- Follow protocols created by the AYEC as well as clinicians
- Provide a safe and caring environment
- Accompany on outings
- Daily, weekly, monthly documentation
- Report to Residential Manager, Residential Coordinator

**Requirements**:

- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, current
- First Aid and CPR
- Valid G Drivers License
- *Minimum of 2 year diploma CYW, SSW, Degree in Psychology, Social Work_
- *Open to University students of Psychology, Social Work, Behaviour Therapy_
- *Experience with behaviours is essential_
- *Experience/knowledge of Indigenous Persons an asset_
- *Flexibility with availability for shift work_
- *French an asset_

**Experience**:

- Field: 1 year (preferred)
