REGIONAL SERVICE MANAGER

In this role, you will provide leadership to the Service Managers in Winnipeg to ensure they meet the financial goals of the Service Division through productive staffing, customer retention, technician training and quality workmanship while improving productivity, reducing costs, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will maintain a strong working relationship with the local management staff while ensuring the implementation of home office standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Acts as liaison for all key service members within the region, including for interactions with shared services (IT, HR, H&S )
- Act as liaison for the region’s service departments with shared services departments
- Acts as representative for the Customer 360 Committee and as the Maxim Management representative for union concerns & negotiations

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years in the retail medium/heavy duty truck industry or equivalent including Service Manager experience to ensure knowledge of the fundamentals in Service Dept sales, financial results, administration, customer service, and shop mgmt.
- Knowledge of fleet and dealer maintenance procedures and systems
- Multi-branch experience is preferred
- Post-secondary education an asset
- Strong business acumen with a focus on results
- Easily builds rapport and develops relationships with varying levels of people
- Exceptional customer service skills including the ability to negotiate
- Proven leadership skills including motivating, coaching, and training
- Ability to manage systems and processes; knowledge of lean principles an asset
- Exposure to a centralized billing system; knowledge of **Karmak** preferred
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
