Poppy's is a classic french bistro with a cozy ambiance, memorable cocktails & wine, as well as fresh, made from scratch food. We are seeking an energetic + attentive Server/Bartender with a combination of skills + experience that include operational excellence in a high volume setting. We are currently open Tues
- Sun with daily Lunch/Dinner and Brunch on weekends.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure guests interactions are handled in a professional + courteous manner, in accordance to our service standards at Poppy's
- Adhere to Poppy's + the AGCO’s policies on responsible alcohol service
- Remain consistently present on the floor during high volume services, working with other team members to ensure that all guests receive an exceptional experience
- Develop + demonstrate a high-level of brand knowledge, including cocktail + food offerings
- Actively seek out details from guests, offering personalized recommendations + effectively using upselling techniques to enhance the guests’ experience + drive sales
- Engage guests with upcoming events
- Assist with opening + closing duties, including clearing + cleaning tables, stocking service stations + other tasks as assigned, to maintain the cleanliness of stations + tables in the restaurant
- Embody the spirit of community-building by creating memorable moments for guests
- 1-2 years experience in a Restaurant Environment
- Passionate and knowledgeable about Food, Wine + Cocktails
- Team driven with extreme guest focus
- Able to manage a high volume of guests alone + with shared support
- Willingness to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays + weekends

We are looking for a Server to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests and take their orders
- Serve food and drinks to guests
- Prepare food items such as salads, appetizers, and desserts
- Assist in the kitchen with food preparation as needed
- Bus tables and clean dining area
- Sanitize tables, chairs, and dining area after each use
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Provide excellent guest relations and hospitality
- Perform basic math calculations to calculate bills and tips

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly manner
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills required for calculating bills and tips
