Suburban Accessories is the country’s largest OEM accessories distributor. We sell and deliver GM and Ford accessories to authorized dealers across the Midwest and Florida. We also distribute AC Delco, Motorcraft and Mopar parts to dealers and aftermarket independent garages. We are comprised of 5 individual ADIs (GM) and 5 individual FADs (Ford), all of which contribute to $500M in total annual sales. **Service Department Assistant Responsibilities include**:

- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s (GLS) DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
- Receive vehicles and thoroughly inspect them as per policy.
- Receive, document, and organize parts, incoming and outgoing.
- Inspection of and Quality control of parts.
- Maintain inventories of parts
- Learn systems to order parts.
- Warranty and recalls.
- Open work orders
- Periodically cover for Car Wash, basic detailing of vehicles.
- Learn all aspects of GLS Service departments (Body shop, Car wash, and Service and Shows)
- Other duties as required.

**Service Department Assistant Qualifications and Skills**:

- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to drive in tight spaces safely.
- Ability to pass background check.
- Consistent work history and attendance record.
- Highly motivated, task-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, Audatex
- Familiarity with GM systems a plus.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
- Must be able to work independently and in teams.
- Must be attentive to details.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
