**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
- Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized waitlist.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of guests to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, demonstrating excellent hospitality skills.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to helping others and enhancing guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
