**Job Title**: Hostess/Busser

**Reports To**: Restaurant Manager

**Job Summary**

The Hostess/Busser is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests while ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized. The role combines responsibilities of greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure excellent customer service and a smooth restaurant operation.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Hostess Duties**:

- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and escort them to their tables.
- Manage the seating chart and monitor wait times.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage inquiries about the menu or restaurant services.
- Ensure a positive first impression by maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Communicate with servers to ensure proper table rotation and efficient service.

**Busser Duties**:

- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
- Refill water glasses and restock utensils, napkins, and condiments on tables.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas for service.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Friendly and customer-focused attitude.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

**Schedule**:
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.25-$19.59 per hour
